MPAVILION BY TADAO ANDO

Inside the Queen Victoria Gardens, Tadao Ando designed this pavilion featuring his signature minimalistic concrete. A super peaceful place to sit and watch the water reflection yet not far from the city. 

TOORONGO FALLS RESERVE 

Inside the Noojee Forest, about 1.5h drive from Melbourne. Perfect for a half day trip with family . Absolutely scenic views with easy walking tracks that leads you to the waterfall. 

SSAA EAGLE PARK RANGE

Two parks available near Melbourne - Eagle Park and Springvale, open to both members and non-members. Need to bring your own rifles!

Can’t escape this most famous Aussie brand when in Australia. This flagship of Aesop was designed by Clare Cousins Architects and inspired by the victoria state library which is blocks away. This location also hosts great events and has been transformed into small book store etc.

ST. KILDA BEACH

Great beach-walk and sunset watching place after a nice dinner nearby.

GOOD MEASURES

Famous for their Mont Blanc - cold brew + foam + a shred of orange skin. Cakes look great too, perfect spot for a afternoon gather.

LUNE

Allegedly the no.1 croissant in the world. Tried the classic butter croissant, super crusty. Worth grabbing a bite if you are on Collins St, be prepared to queue.

THE HUB GENERAL STORE

The best Japanese objects !! Always refreshing to see what they’ve selected. Reminds me of London’s Labour & Wait. Located in beautiful Collingwood area with walking distance to furniture stores, coffee shops and Fitzroy garden.
