LOS ANGELES
JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK
Andrew’s airbnb is so tastefully decorated with everything we need - outdoor fireplace, porch, electric car charger.. There are snakes and scorpios around so don’t leave your shoes outside at night! We picked up Janpanese barbeque from the city and cozied up around fire with wine after the feast. The boys climbed up hill to see sun rise early next day. Just one of those magical nights with the best friends.Map

CHROME HEARTS
Quite an intimate store with a Japanese inspired courtyard in Beverley Hills. Where I bought my very first Chrome ring back in 2016. There wasn’t much stock in the accessible price range when we visited, but still worth a visit if you are nearby as its not far from H.Lorenzo and Maxfield. Strictly no photos allowed inside - which was a first time for chrome as I’ve taken pics in their tokyo, london and ny stores with no issue.Map
KAZUNORI HANDROLL BAR
Reccommended by local friends. Minimal and stylish interior and some seriously great fish. I had six handrolls on my own, easy. The monkfish liver and uni are sooo brainy, the quality is absolutely stunning. Great spot for a light lunch.Map

KODO
Heard about the good food (japanese) here, but we were there for a casual meeting so only grabbed some drinks. Super cute courtyard, seems perfect for small gatherings. The staffs are really lovely, very accomodating and easy to chat with - that’s such a LA people thing and we love!Map

NOGUCHI GARDEN
Hidden behind modern skyscrapers, smaller than expected. Not worth a special trip but quite a nice little stop for Noguchi fans if you are already in the area.Map
TERMINAL 27
Used to be one of my fav young concept stores. Great space flow, beautiful courtyard, innovative web visuals plus hottest parties and events. However it feels like there’s not much going on anymore after my visit in 2022, which is a shame.Map

SANTA MONICA
Ok probably my second favourite tourist place, right after Universal. Roller coaster at burning sunset is worth every minute of the queue.Map
MAXFIELD
The OG of concept stores. Fell in love with it during my visit in high school and still obsessed. Always has the best window displays, furniture, books, and a sharp eye for emerging brands. Every visit reminds me why I got into this industry in the first palce.Map

TOPANGA
Spent our last three days of this trip hiding away in the Topanga mountains. Not a typical tourist tourist spot, but the area is full of super stylish houses, scenic trails and lookouts in Topanga State Park.. Plus its only a short drive to Malibu beach. Would highly recommend nature buddies with a car to stay for a few days.Book Now

MALIBU BEACH
Surfing is availale on good weather days. Otherwise just wander like we did - takeaway sushi on the beach, coffee at beach clubs and admiring random people’s houses. No agenda needed.Map
ALICE’S KITCHEN
*Long queue alert*Every local Chinese probably already knows about Alice’s - arguably the most authentic and popular Hong Kong restaurant in LA. Nothing can go wrong here but the ovaltine french toast is extra divine.

RUEN PAIR
Inside the plaza of Thai Town, totally worth the wait. Order anything you can’t go wrong here - my photos seriously don’t do it justice!!! There’s a Thai mini mart opposite of the restaurant that sells cute thai deserts/snacks, check it out while waiting.Map
K TOWN
No debate, THE food spot in downtown. We went for dinner two nights in a row. Barbeque: King Chang; beef rib stew: Song Nong Dan. Honestly some best food and most vibey neighbourhood in LA.Map
BAVEL
Modern Middle Eastern food, vibey atmosphere, perfect for a night out with friends.Map
